Learn the term first, then ask for the price
Read the definition on the hospital page linked below, then ask a clinic to explain any term it uses in plain words before it quotes you. I have not written a clinical definition, because the subject here is pricing.
What to know before you ask
One page explains vaginal atrophy, its causes, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, from Cleveland Clinic. Another covers menopause treatment from the Office on Women's Health separately.

If a clinic uses a term you do not recognize, ask them to say it in plain words. A clear explanation of the term usually comes before a clear quote.
Questions to bring once the vocabulary is familiar
- Read one of the pages above before your visit so the vocabulary is familiar.
- Ask the clinic to put its proposed plan and its price in writing.
- Ask which parts of the plan are optional.
What reading fees can and cannot cover
Fees and quotes for vaginal atrophy care are what I can help you read, not the condition itself, and for anything about your own body your clinician has the final word.
